After many years in the airline industry Jim Decided on a career change. A long time cigar smoker, owning and operating a smoke shop seemed to be the perfect next career. On February 1, 2008, Jim became the proud owner of Aficionado’s Downtown smoke Shop.

Michael Hines,Tobacconist and Pipe Specialist

Michael is our “go to” guy for all our pipe and tobacco smokers. He is an avid cigar and pipe smoker with over 20 years of tobacconist expertise. He does all of our pipe restoration and has a vast knowledge of pipe history and dating pipes for historical reference. He is invaluable in our pipe selections and also responsible for some of our house blends.
